My brother Faisal’s friend, Faris Ali, saw the Chocolate Wall and coincidentally was refurbishing his apartment and asked me to do something similar for his place but more in line with his aesthetic, black and white. It was an astute interior with an edge, so the piece had to be more controlled than the chocolate wall. Faris’ precious items were intricate, compelling, and well composed.
