As every woodworker has experienced, there is never enough space for their growing collection of tools, so a peg wall is necessary to store most your tools flat on the wall. These walls are so practical and the only sensible option once you realize the potential of what you can store on a peg wall using the various bits of hardware. But the MDF/masonite boards used are visually very mundane, maybe because the tools will be overwhelming anyway but this wasn’t convincing for me, so I painted it a bright pastel blue to soften its original jarring aesthetic and then pulled a Jackson Pollock.
